Saskatchewan's residential construction industry is big, and it needs more skilled tradespeople to continue growing. Each year more than 12,000 homes are built or renovated, providing more than 40,000 direct and indirect jobs, making residential construction of the largest employers in the province.
The residential construction industry offers a wide range of rewarding career opportunities, from excavator to roofer, and everything in between. Some of the most exciting and well paid opportunities are available through the province's apprenticeship training system, which combines on-the-job experience with technical classroom training.
