Prince Albert is the third largest city in Saskatchewan and is the central trading hub of the northern resource industries, including mining, forestry and agriculture. The recent reinvestment in the community pulp and paper mill will draw new workers into the region and stimulate economies in Prince Albert and surrounding communities.

As industry continues to move north to invest in mining and other resources, Prince Albert and region will benefit from increased population, further investment in community businesses and housing and improvements in unemployment rate. Growth potential in the Prince Albert region is significant and the city's location makes it an ideal central community for northern development and for recreation.

A young community with substantial economic potential, Prince Albert is ideally located and constituted to grow into the future and investments in residential planning and construction today will sustain growth for years to come.
